Here are our proposed projects for next year 2010

Opacod has acquired a plot of about 600 acres for food and energy crop cultivation. Food crops such as cassava, yam and maize will be cultivated interplanted with the oil cash crop Jatropha for biodiesel production.

Project 2.: Lighting Africa

Under this, Opacod will provide Solar Power (electricity) to schools (without which pupils cannot study in the night), for powering pumps for drinking water, to lessen the burden on the women who have the task of using half a day for fetching water for their families and for other community businesses where electrical power may be needed. In this regard a school complex with 800 pupils in the federal State of Edo in Nigeria will be  powered by Opacod. About 30 Computer and a bore-hole pump will draw  up drinking water powered by the Solar Photovoltaic generators to be provided by Opacod.

Project 3: Kindergarten & Primary School complex

This is an urgent project which needs soon to be started as soon as the necessary funding is available. This is to provide learning institution for kids whose mothers have to carry them long distances to the nearest kindergarten or for pupils who have to journey miles on foot to the next school in their vicinity in Brong Ahafo region in Ghana.
